My holidays

I'm in Laguna Verde. It's a place next to Valparaiso. I'm here with my uncle and his family.
This picture shows them.

My uncle's name is Carlos. He works in a drugstore. his wife likes gathering flowers and branches on the pathway, her name is Cristina, she makes handicrafts too. The girl on the picture is their daughter, her name is Carolina; my cousin is very intelligent, She enjoys reading Condorito and she tells funny jokes. The woman with lightblue shirt is Cristina's sister.

Ramón Sampedro's Testament

Ramón Sampedro was a great Spanish writer. The Movie "The Sea Inside" from Alejandro Amenabar, it is about his life.

Ramon got paralysis for thirty years and he was fighting in a court for his right of practicing euthanasia and end his life with dignity.(*)

In his book "Letters from Hell", he says:
<<"...the birth right is the beginning of a truth: the desire of pleasure. The right to die is the beginning of another truth: the desire of not suffering. The Ethical Reason puts Bad or Good in all the acts. A son conceived against the will of the woman is a crime. A death against the will of the person too. But a wished son conceived by love is a good. A wished death to leave someone of an irremediable pain, too. Any freedom can't be constructed on a tyranny. Any justice, on injustice or pain. Any positive good, on an unjust suffering...">>(*)

He died on January 12, 1998; when his friend, Ramona Maneiro helped him to suicide.

Ramón had problem with law and some people for his will. In his Testament, he says them:
<<"Srs. Judges, Religious and Political Authorities:
My conscience isn't trapped in my deformit, atrophied, unfeeling body , but It's in the deformity, atrophy and insensitivity of your consciences". >>(*)
